Timothy Alexander “Alex” Partee

Timothy Alexander Partee, known lovingly as Alex, passed away on August 17, 2025, at the age of 43 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Alex was a devoted husband, a proud father, a cherished brother, and a true friend to all who were fortunate to know him. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Julie and Timothy Partee, and is survived by his wife of nine years, Tara A. Partee, and their three beautiful children—Nathan, Breanna, and Mackenzie—who were the light of his life.

He is also survived by his four siblings, David (Lisa) Partee, Jason (Jackie) Partee, Matthew Partee, and Lindsey (Billy) Fields; his grandparents, Sharon and Danny Thompson; and his 15 beloved nieces and nephews—Parker, Kayla, Carter, Averey, Corey, Jackson, Kerrington, Luke, Khloe, Levi, Lilly, Harper, Julian, Willow, and Arie—who adored his playful spirit as “Uncle Alex.”

Alex found joy in life’s simple blessings: reading his Bible, tending his garden, fixing up his truck, and cheering for his beloved Green Bay Packers and Kentucky Wildcats. He especially treasured time spent with his children—whether giving them a special goodnight kiss, playing board games, or gathering around the table for family meals. His cooking skills brought warmth and laughter to many holidays, where his love for family shined brightest.

Above all, Alex’s greatest pride and joy was being a father. His kindness, gentle heart, and unwavering devotion will be forever remembered by the family and friends who loved him. His memory lives on in the love he gave and the lives he touched.

A memorial service to celebrate Alex’s life will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025, at Parkland Baptist Church, 7206 Shepherdsville Rd, Louisville, KY 40219.

Visitation: 1:00–2:00 p.m.
Memorial Service: 2:00–3:00 p.m.
A prepared meal for family will follow.
