Betsy Susan Ellison

Betsy Susan Ellison, 81, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Betsy lived a life filled with love, laughter, and treasured memories.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Roger Ellison; her children, Steven Ellison, Roy Ellison, and Andrea Hoskinson; her daughter-in-law, Teresa Ellison and son-in-law, Shaun Hoskinson; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Ellison, Jenna Ellison, Autumn Blasi, and Summer Blasi. She is also survived by her sister, Rebecca Groves, and her brother, Albert Pehlke.

Betsy was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Ileta Pehlke, and her brothers, William and Charles Pehlke.

Family was at the heart of everything Betsy did. Any free time she had was joyfully spent with those she loved most, especially during summers at the family’s lake house, where countless cherished memories were made. She also enjoyed playing bingo, traveling with her husband, and simply being surrounded by the people who brought her the most happiness.

Betsy’s warmth, kindness, and devotion to her family will be remembered always. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, where her family and friends will gather to honor and remember her remarkable life.
